  1. 1. Mentoring System:

Most of our students come from rural and poor background who lack educational environment around them. Many of them are first generation learners who need strong moral and educational support. Their parents usually are daily wage workers with hand to mouth earning. Uneducated and poor-illiterate  family background of students make them hard to dream higher in their life. To bridge this gap, a solid pro-active mentoring system in the college is in place to guide, support mentees regarding their academic progress, learning strengths and weaknesses, financial support, moral counselling and career development.
Each faculty is allotted certain number of mentees at the beginning of the academic year. On an average, 20 students are assigned to each faculty to instruct, guide and monitor the progress of the students. The mentor holds face to face interaction with their mentees four days in a week. Tutorial system is followed to ensure the learning attitude of students.
Each class is assigned to a faculty who acts as class teacher to coordinate various activities. Issue related to leave, absence for exams, grievance of the class is brought to the notice of the class teacher through class representatives.
